Sarajevo Phoenix is a group of Bosnian women - Serbs, Muslims, Croats - who are skilled embroiderers and who believe in the possibility of a multi-ethnic society. Just like the phoenix which rose from the ashes, these women are putting aside their differences, and working together to heal the wounds created by the Balkan war of the mid-1990s.
