Simple Steps

Follow these simple steps for an overview to hosting A Greater Gift Sale and download a detailed Consignment Step by Step Guide or Wholesale Step by Step Guide.

Set a Date, Time and Place
Start planning early! Ask friends, family, an organization or a youth group to participate. Consider planning your event with another community or organization event to draw a larger crowd.

Choose your program

  • Preselected Consignment Packages: Order a package of new and popular handcrafts chosen by our staff. Packages come in three retail values: $750, $1500, and $2500. Contents may vary with product availability. You receive 10% off the retail value of items and you can return what does not sell. It's fast and easy!
  • Self-select Consignment: Choose from nearly 300 handcrafts that are available for consignment in our catalog. These are marked with an asterisk in the catalog description and are listed on the Consignment Order Form. Any of these 300 handcrafts may be returned. You also can add additional handcrafts and foods to your order and receive the 10% discount, but these items may not be returned.
  • Wholesale: Choose this option if you are a reseller, such as a faith-based store, web site vendor or experienced sales host, looking for a deeper discount. You receive 20% off the retail value of items but you cannot return items that do not sell.

Set up an Account
Once you have selected the type of program you would like, fill out the appropriate sections in the Sales Agreement and Account Information Forms and submit them to our Customer Service Department.

Place an Order
After your forms are submitted, you can submit your order at anytime. Please order four weeks before your sale. How to Order.

Set up your Sale
When you receive handcrafts check to make sure your order was complete. If there are any discrepancies, fill out an Adjustment Form. Unwrap one of each item you ordered to make for an attractive display. At the sale, have your customers make checks payable to you or your organization.

Wrap up
Consignment Customers, take inventory of what you have sold and submit one check made payable to A Greater Gift. Prepare your Consignment Return, with the help of our How to Prepare a Consignment Return Form and Consignment Returns Worksheet.

Fill out A Greater Gift Sale Questionnaire to tell us how your sale went. Celebrate! Your A Greater Gift Sale has made a difference in the lives of artisans and farmers around the world. Wholesale Customers, submit one payment within 30 days of the date on your invoice.
