Casa Romero Artisan Workshop

VAMOS!, a ministry among the poor in the state of Morelos, Mexico was inspired by a Maryknoll mission community. Since it began work in 1987, VAMOS has sponsored a variety of community development projects in and around Cuernevaca, including Casa Romero, an artisan workshop. Casa Romero, which opened in 1997, offers assistance in new product design, marketing, and cooperative purchases of basic materials to artisans working on the streets of Cuernevaca.
