Craft Link began in 1995 working with ethnic minorities- black Thai, Nung, and Ta Oi- in the remote Central Highlands of Vietnam. Working closely with the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi, Craft Link helps preserve the traditional tribal skills of weaving and embroidery. Craft Link also provides marketing, design, and management advice to street children in Hanoi who are learning stone carving skills, to handicapped girls learning to quilt, and to a group of physically-disabled woodcarvers from Hue.
