Peru: Manos Amigas S.A.
Manos Amigas, which means "hands of friendship," is a non-profit income-generating program which was started to provide funds for a breakfast program for children offered by a Baptist Church in Lima. The 50 artisans affiliated with Manos Amigas are designing wool tapestries, ceramic nativities, vases, and jewelry, and reverse-painted glass trays, coasters, and mirrors.
